This expanding, trendsetting company is looking for a highly motivated Global Segment Manager Building Base Isolation (BBI) based in their head office in Overijse (Belgium) to join their growing team and support their worldwide expansion.

 

As Global Segment Manager you are responsible for the marketing and technical aspects of the strategic product families that relate to Building Base isolation. You are part of the Sales & Marketing team and together you will ensure the further development of the CDM Stravitec brand, brand awareness, strengthening the internal information flow and increasing our market potential.

 

 

  • THESE ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS GLOBAL SEGMENT MANAGER:

 

  • Develop (and refine) the product’s overall strategy, including defining the product’s vision, goals, and roadmap, to keep the business relevant and competitive.
  • Conduct market research, benchmark market competition, and monitor and forecast trends to analyze competition and improve campaign performance.
  • Determine product pricing for worldwide selling.
  • Drive product launches and act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle.
  • Translate product strategy into technical requirements and specifications for the product family.
  • Lead D&D programs to improve the products from cost and performance point of view.
  • Ensure conformity with applicable normalization and standardization.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of products, solutions, and company offerings.
  • Provide all the necessary tools to develop and maintain the technical and sales documentation, to train and support the engineering and project delivery management teams, to assist the Branch Managers for product presentations and adherence to processes and procedures in particular environmental legislation.

Depending on your profile and experience, other tasks may be added.

  • You have a master’s degree in structural or civil engineering.
  • You have at least 3 years of product management or other relevant experience.
  • You have an affinity with Sales and Marketing and are business development
  • You have experience in design or installation of solutions to protect buildings from structure-borne noise and vibration, through elastic decoupling of building structure.
  • You have a solid technical background in acoustics and/or structural engineering with hands-on experience in building construction market.
  • You are willing to travel (mostly Europe).
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills; are proactive and have strong organizational & time management skills with an eye for detail.
  • You take the initiative and know how to get people enthusiastic about your plans.
  • You can function well both independently and in a team.
  • You are comfortable with project management.
  • You have a very good knowledge of English (both written and oral).
  • You can work fluently with various PC applications and are familiar with social media.
